Adventures of Hiddehoggue by Laura Breen
From the hand of a small girl-child is how I came to be
assisted by a steely needle and thick black thread she sewed,
not so delicately.
My head belongs to her stuffed cat
my ears are from the stuffed rabbit
one arm came from the stuffed bear
the other, the wing of the stuffed blue bird.
My legs are no exception, they both are different too
one being from her stuffed duck
the other her stuffed pigs hoof
This is my story of how I came to be
from the hands of a small girl- child named Alice
who did not sew so delicately
